I really enjoy it. It’s about touch and stimulation, connecting with yourself and accepting yourself,” she says. For Katie, finding a routine that worked for her was more than skin deep. “No one knows your face better than you, which is the difficulty I had because I had this face and then it changed, so I had to get to know another face and start from the beginning – at 24 that was a weird relationship,” she explains. “I’ve got there now but I think you only get there by engaging and it’s an actual act of self-care.” . . .
