TikTok star Rosie Daniels (@itsrosieandharry), has been living with psoriasis for ten years. The patches first appeared on her scalp, but later covered her body. Psoriasis, Dr Luke explains, occurs when “a person’s body is prone to having a baseline of constant inflammation. The specific inflammatory pathway in psoriasis manifests heavily in the skin.” Psoriasis presents as red, scaly patches which are often sore and itchy. But Rosie refuses to let the condition get her down. “One of the things that makes me feel the best is when I post photos of my skin,” she explains. “I think there’s so many people posting online now and it’s just not real life.
