COVER INTERVIEW Speaking about her decision to partner with an industry-known hair brand, Anne-Marie says: “I love being involved in things that are naturally part of my life anyway. I’ve been using Fudge products since I’ve been blonde and I want to show and tell people what they can do to help their blonde hair.” “I’ve been bleaching my hair for about ten years now and I’m lucky because I’ve managed to keep my hair healthy every time I get it dyed,” she admits. But what’s her secret? “I try not to blow-dry it or use any hot heat,” she shares. “I just let it dry naturally and I avoid washing it every day because with bleached blonde hair it’s less likely to get greasy, so the less you do the better.” Despite its reputation of being notoriously challenging to upkeep, Anne- Marie takes pride in the strength of her blonde mane. “It makes me happy when people say how strong my hair is after being blonde for so long,” she boasts. “But I just think any compliment on your hair is nice, especially when you do a hairstyle that is quite outside your comfort zone.” ON HAIR HACKS...
