COVER INTERVIEW Whilst the adage states that ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’, Austin believes that our perception of beauty holds a greater meaning: “A lot of the time, beauty is really the lens in which we view the world,” he says. “You could be having an awful day and walk by a rosebush and not appreciate it at all, but when you are really present with that flower, or song, or fragrance, you’re able to experience the beauty of the nuances of whatever you are spending time with,” Austin explains. As the muse of the new YSL Beauty MYSLF fragrance, the actor talks about his passion for scent: “Fragrance is very similar to clothing in the sense that it can augment our day, it can change our mood. Also, our sense of smell, more than any other sense, bypasses our conscious mind and can evoke memories ON FRAGRANCE & BEAUTY...
