This month’s Mutant ZBOX was designed by UK illustrator
Nos4a2 - an anonymous artist with a love of 80’s
movies, comics and freerunning! Read our interview with
the mysterious Nos4a2 to discover how he found his
unique artistic style - and why his true identity has
yet to be revealed…
Nos4a2, your illustration and
design work has always been
credited to this pseudonym - why?
During my early illustration days, I
began to sign my work as Nos4a2. When
things started to take off work-wise, it
became my assumed name and it soon
stuck. I kind of like it though, I enjoy the
separation and anonymity. I’ve never
really wanted to put a human face to
my work; it can stand alone in its own
right. Don’t get me wrong - I’m no rebel
outlaw, I just think it gives the art more
character!
